Can one of the reason so many HP fans bash twilight be that they are simply afraid that someone will not like Harry anymore, and they will only care about Edward/Jacob? You know, just... switch side? Like the vampires more than the wizards and witches?
I have avoided this for a while, and I refuse to compare Harry Potter and Twilight. The ONLY similarity is that it's both fantasy (thought I believe vampires and witches/wizards exist in one form or another)
What so many haters are so wrong about is that they simply seem to think it's ALL about being on either Team Edward, Team Jacob or Team Switzerland.
But all of us who's read the series, who loves and adores it, know this is not true!
I myself am on Team Jasper firs and foremost, and also Team Alice, Carlisle and Emmett. I'd choose Edward over Jacob, but I think they're both too controlling...
Twilight is more of a modern R+J history, with a supernatural twist and happy ending.
Fine, Twilight ended without the fight everyone wanted, but although it says "THE END", I doubt it's the end... ;)
Maybe for the story told from Bella and Edward's POV, but I'm sure we'll get to read more about Jake and Renesmee.
Btw, I LOVE that name..... Renesmee Carlie Cullen is a gorgeous name!
Harry Potter ended in a HUGE fight, and it was actually really great, but I think TOO many people died. The bad guys I didn't mind, but WHY did so many of the good ones have to die?!
also, we got a chapter from 20 years into the future, with Harry and Ginny married with three kids, and Ron and Hermoine married with two kids.
Even Malfoy got a happy ending, and he thankfully didn't marry that bitch ;)
okay, I'll continue on this tomorrow, when I'm more awake (hopefully) and not having a mom and sis glaring at me...
