A question, and comparing vampires Part 1

Being a fan of both Harry Potter AND the twilight-saga, it annoys me incredibly much when a large percentage of HP fan-sites can't exist without bashing twilight; be it a simple post, a long , picture or video. For all I know, there's probably a forum or least many threads on various forums out there made by HP fans to bash us twilighters... Sure, people are allowed to have their own opinion; it's a human right. BUT, my point is; do you see us twilighters bashing Harry Potter or other supernatural series?
No?
I thought so.

Harry Potter is what opened a whole new world for me, and made me interested in the supernatural/fantasy world that exists out there. (Yes, I do believe in the supernatural, not all kinds, but a fair share)
But, I love vampires the most.
Do not think however that I only love the twilight-vamps, when there are so many vamps of other kind out there.

We mustn't forget the originals: Bram Stoker's Dracula; The Vampyre by John Polidori. nor Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

The original vampires burn in daylight/sunlight, some can change into bats/wolves and/or other creatures. Their fangs are always out, and to be changed, they have to first be drained to the point of death, and thereafter drink the blood of their maker/master/sire. Some are allergic to garlic, holy crucifixes, i.e crosses (although this seems to mainly be ogf the Christian kind, not Jewish or any other religion). They cannot enter God's House (churches)

The modern vampires have either no fangs (twilight, House of Night), or retractable fangs (Vampire Diaries, Vampire Knight, Southern Vampire Mysteries [Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood]). They can go into sunlight without dying (TB vamps are the exeption to this though... And Twilight-vamps sparkle, and can't do it when humans can see them, the Vampire Diaries vamps need a special-ring or else they'd die after a little while, Moonlight vamps weaken quickly and Vampire Knight vamps weaken some, but they won't burn.) TB vamps burn in daylight, the others are only affected by direct sunlight.

I'll continue on this topic when I get home, since I'm done at work now, and I need to catch the bus ;)
